Schools in Punjab will be closed during the winter || Winter Vacation Notification
ARY Digital PK reported on Thursday that the Punjab government has given all schools in the state 22 days off for the winter.
The education department of the province’s schools has sent out a notice saying that all public and private schools will be closed from December 20, 2024, to January 10, 2025, for the winter break.
In the notice, the Secretary of School Education did say that the school would resume on January 13th because of the weekly holidays on January 11th and 12th.
The notice also said that the rules against wearing face masks at school would not change.
At the time of the announcement, the Lahore High Court (LHC) had ordered that schoolchildren be picked up and dropped off after the winter break. This was to help reduce the danger of smog.
